All students in grades 3-8 will be assigned homework four nights a week, Monday through Thursday. Homework reinforces class work through practice and extension. It provides students with the opportunity to display responsible behavior and to extend the conditions by which they learn. It also plays an important role by involving the parents in the education of their child(ren). To successfully educate children, parents and teachers must work together. Homework is one-way parents can make a meaningful contribution to helping their child(ren) succeed.
