Good Morning Alhambra Parents:

The Alhambra District Office will be closed today, Friday, April 3, through the weekend; and you will not receive any communication during this time.

Due to the Governor’s recent Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, beginning next week we will only be distributing meals on Mondays.  Each child will receive meals for the week. We will continue to offer drive-up and walk-up lines for families at school site meal distribution locations.  We encourage parents to use a drive-up option if possible. At bus pick-up sites, we will accommodate drive-up if the setup is safe. Please know that there may only be a walk-up option at some bus distribution sites.  To reduce the number of people visiting each location, we encourage parents to leave children at home with a responsible caregiver. Children will not need to be present to pick-up food. Please follow the direction of staff and the setup at your location to ensure there is a 6 foot distance between you and other people.

In the coming days, your child’s teacher will be reaching out to you to check in on your family and inform you how you may contact your child’s teacher with any questions regarding the learning materials you received.  Teachers will be available to support students and parents Mondays through Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Buenos días padres de Alhambra:

La Oficina del Distrito de Alhambra estará cerrada hoy, viernes 3 de abril, hasta el fin de semana; y no recibirá comunicación durante este tiempo.

Debido a la reciente orden del gobernador Stay Home, Stay Healthy, (Quédese en Casa, Manténgase Saludable) a partir de la próxima semana solo distribuiremos comidas los lunes. Cada niño recibirá comidas para toda la semana. Continuaremos ofreciendo a las familias las opciones para tomar fila por-vehículo o a-pie en las ubicaciones de distribución de comidas de las escuelas. Le recomendamos a los padres a usar la opción por-vehículo si es posible. En los sitios de recogida del autobús, ofreceremos por-vehículo si tal opción es segura. Tenga en cuenta que es posible que solo exista la opción a-pie en algunos sitios de distribución en las paradas de autobuses. Para reducir la cantidad de personas que visitan cada ubicación, le recomendamos a los padres a que dejen a los niños en casa con alguien responsable. Los niños no necesitarán estar presentes para recoger comida. Siga las instrucciones del personal y la configuración en su ubicación para asegurarse de que haya una distancia de 6 pies entre usted y otras personas.

En los próximos días, el maestro de su hijo se comunicará con usted para saber como se encuentra su familia e informarle cómo puede comunicarse con el maestro de su hijo si tiene alguna pregunta sobre los materiales de aprendizaje que recibió. Los maestros estarán disponibles para apoyar a los estudiantes y padres de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 a.m. a 2:30 p.m.
