Community Relations
The Community Relations Office is responsible for the strategic and ongoing marketing and communication of AESD schools, students, and staff. Communication planning, marketing, public engagement, digital communication, media relations, crisis communication, and recognition are the primary areas of focus of the department. The mission of the Community Relations department is to build trust through communication and partnerships that promote Educating the Whole Child. Additionally, the department actively pursues community, business, and faith-based partnerships to support the District's mission.
Social Media Rules of Engagement

Our district social media pages are designed to communicate news from the Alhambra Elementary School District and our schools. The district reserves the right to delete or remove a post that violates any of the following rules:
- No profane, threatening, harassing, bullying, vulgar, obscene or discriminatory
material. - No material that is likely to disrupt the learning environment.
- No comments that portray students and/or staff in a defamatory, abusive, or generally
negative tone. - Respect copyrights and fair use laws; no plagiarism - give proper credit for other's
work. - No comments or posts that do not show proper consideration for others' privacy or are
likely to offend or provoke others. - No spam or unsolicited advertisements–i.e. repeatedly posting the same comment or
comments that are simply advertising/promoting a service or product. - No content that violates or promotes the violation of school rules.
- No political lobbying or actions that violate ARS 15-511.
The intent of this policy is not to keep any negative or critical information from being posted, but to protect the privacy and rights of the Alhambra Elementary School District staff and students. Naming specific employees or students in a negative way will not be allowed. Page administrators review all postings for their appropriateness.
