    Student health and safety is of utmost importance at the Alhambra Elementary School District. Recently, our district was made aware, by one of our vendors, of a potential safety issue that involves a product(s) your child may have received from his or her school. While the notification the district received is phrased in terms of the product only having a possible hazard, we are determined to act proactively and pass this information on to you as soon as we receive it.

    The item(s) is/are a BAZIC Pencil Pouch 3 Ring Binder Pouch w/ Rivet Enforced Rings Holes, Mesh Window, Zipper Pouches Case Cosmetic Bag, Bright Assorted Color 

    And Blue Summit Supplies Pencil Pouches for Storing School Supplies, Writing Utensils, and more, Cloth Zipper Pouches for 3 Ring Binders

    A U.S. Regulatory Agency and/or a Product Safety Team provided the vendor information that indicates that the product listed above may exceed the federal limits for lead and/or cadmium or contains a defect that presents a substantial product hazard under CPSA Section 15(a)(1) or (2).

    If your child has this item, we ask that you please dispose of it properly.
