Principal's Message

  • Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to a new school year at Catalina Ventura! I am incredibly honored to serve as your principal and excited to embark on this journey with each of you. Having been a part of the Alhambra community for 15 years in various roles, including special education teacher and assistant principal, I am deeply committed to our students' success and well-being.

As we begin this academic year, my foremost priority is to foster a positive and safe learning environment where every scholar can thrive. Together, we will uphold a standard of educational excellence and promote personal growth among our students. I am confident that with our shared commitment, we will achieve remarkable accomplishments.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead to collaborate with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and the broader community. At Catalina Ventura, we aim to create an inclusive
environment where every student feels welcomed, connected, and valued—a place we proudly call home for our Tigers!

In addition to our rigorous academic programs, we will continue offering a variety of after-school sports and clubs to enrich the student experience both inside and outside the classroom.
These activities provide our students with opportunities to showcase their talents and develop new skills.

I firmly believe in the power of partnership between home and school. Your involvement and support are crucial in ensuring our students reach their fullest potential. Please do not hesitate to
reach out with any questions, feedback, or ideas you may have. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where every student can flourish academically and personally.

I am excited about the possibilities this school year holds and look forward to working with each of you to make it exceptional. Let's join hands and make this year a resounding success for our
    Catalina Pride!

    Warm regards,

    Jessica Jensen
