About Guest Teaching Services
Thank you for your interest and joining the Alhambra Elementary School District as a guest teacher.
Guest Teachers must have:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Arizona Substitute Certificate, and/or an Arizona Certified Teaching Certificate.
In order to accept long-term positions, a guest teacher must be highly qualified.

Guest Teacher Salary Schedule
K-5th Grade | $150 per day | 1-60 days |
K-5th Grade | $170 per day | 61-180 days |
Pre-Kindergarten | $170 per day | Daily |
6th-8th Grade | $170 per day | Daily |
Special Areas | $170 per day | Daily |
Special Education | $170 per day | Daily |
Long-Term | $210 per day | after 30 days in the same classroom daily |
