• Catalina NJHS Students Generosity

    Recently, Catalina NJHS, students, families, and staff completed a

    canned food drive for our Alhambra Families!

    It was amazing to see two HUGE bins completely full of food for our pantry

    come rolling in from Catalina!

    Walmart has been an amazing partner with us over the last two years and recently decided to adopt our Family Resource Center clothing room. Luis Acosta, Adriana Fernandez-Clark, Javier Angulo, Darrin Hutcheson and several Walmart Associates have volunteered countless hours in an effort to make it the best clothing room in Alhambra!

  • Our New Friends from TASC!

    We recently had our new friends from TASC come by the other day and drop off over $1,000 worth of school supplies for our Alhambra students! We appreciated the time and effort it took to gather all the wonderful supplies needed to start the year! Thank you for making a difference in our students' lives and setting them up for success!

    Learning Service Projects

    Our ALC students inspire others to work well as a team today!

    Our team filled our shelves with much-needed supplies for our families in our community.

    We appreciate their positive attitude and effort today!

  • Local Girls Scout Support Our AFRC Families

    Our very own District Academic Coach, Erika Twohy, troop leader for a local Girls Scout Chapter is rallying her girls to take donations at their booths for the AFRC.  This means the FRC would get cookies for our food pantry and the extra money from the donations will be used to buy additional supplies for our families.

  • Walmart and Friends Brings Holiday Cheer to our Alhambra Family Resource Center!

    On Friday, December 15, Walmart generously surprised 50 AESD students and their families with wrapped gifts and gift cards at a holiday celebration at the Alhambra Family Resource Center (FRC).

    Additionally, Walmart brought a check for $10,000 to support the services at the FRC. What an incredible gift! Visit our Facebook page for photos of the event!
