Alhambra Elementary School District is among the top 3% of school districts nationwide for student learning growth, according to newly released data from Stanford University’s Educational Opportunity Project. From 2022 to 2025, Alhambra students gained the equivalent of 1.33 years of learning for every academic year, compared to the national average of 1.0 years.

The district’s math growth was even stronger, ranking in the 99th percentile nationally. Alhambra students also showed exceptional growth across student groups, with Hispanic students ranking 10th out of 1,330 districts nationwide for math growth and low-income students ranking 39th out of 2,855 districts.

These results reflect the dedication of Alhambra teachers and staff who work every day to help students grow and reach their full potential. We are proud of the learning happening across our schools and the progress our students continue to make.
