Hello, Panther families!

My name is Kate Scidurlo, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Carol G. Peck Elementary. My 19 year journey in education has included teaching middle school, serving as a Special Education teacher as well as an instructional coach and Assistant Principal where I've had the privilege of supporting students, teachers, and families in creating positive learning experiences. I am passionate about building strong relationships, fostering a culture of kindness and high expectations, and helping every child discover their potential.

A few fun facts about me—I enjoy staying active through fitness and weightlifting, I love spending time with my cats, and I'm always up for a solo international travel adventure. I believe that learning never stops, and I'm always looking for ways to grow both personally and professionally while exploring our beautiful world and the incredible cultures represented.

This school year, I'm most excited about getting to know our students and families, celebrating successes together, and working alongside our incredible staff to create meaningful learning experiences. Together, we'll continue building a school community where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. I can't wait for an amazing year!
