  • Great Title 1/Open House Night

    Shout out to all of our wonderful Montebello Grizzly parents who attended our Title 1/Open House night! We had over 200 parents in attendance for our Title 1 presentation- way to go parents! Special thanks to Welcome to America Project, Pc's for Refugees, the Family Resource Center and the International Rescue Committee who were also on hand to provide valuable resources for our parents and community! Our PTO and volunteers were also on hand to recruit more proud parents to be active participants at our school! It was a great night for our Grizzly family!

  • New Books for Montebello

    Big SHOUT OUT, to our very own Mr. Kent 8th Grade Science Teacher. On Wednesday August 23rd Mr. Kent visited Bookstorm through the friends of Phoenix Public Library to pick out books for Montebello Students. Mr. Kent carefully picked out 1,000 books for Montebello. Thank you Mr. Kent and Bookstorm.

  • First PTO Meeting Was A Hit!

    Montebello had a very successful first PTO meeting! Very exciting to have so many parents attend wanting to learn more about our school and how they can be active participants in the decision-making process! Let's go Grizzly families!

  • Montebello MESA Team Takes Fourth Place at Nationals!

    The results are in! Our Montebello MESA team has earned First Place in the Technical Paper, and Fourth Place Overall in the Nation! This is amazing news, and we couldn't be more proud of our brilliant students! Congratulations to them and their advisors!

  • Students can call the Homework Hotline Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. during the school year for assistance. Two certified teachers and a Spanish-speaking translator are on call to assist students with homework problems.
    The number to call is (602) 246-5000. Keep this number posted by your phone, and encourage your children to take advantage of this free service.

  • We are excited to welcome our School Resource Officer Kenny Angwin! Officer Angwin is a certified teacher, as well as a long-standing police officer with the Phoenix PD. He will provide law-related classes to Montebello students, be a resource to our community, and build positive relationships with all stakeholders! We are so happy to have him join the Grizzly family!

  • The Alhambra Elementary School District is excited to announce the launch of a new mobile app! The moble app provides parents and community members an easy way to connect to our schools and district and get information through your mobile devices.
