Healthy Meals/Nutrition Standards

  • We prepare our menus to meet the United States Department of Agriculture’s strict nutrition standards. Foods are hand selected and analyzed to ensure they meet the requirements for calories, fat, protein, sodium, and whole grains for our students. This translates into well-balanced, healthy meals that provide recommended amounts of energy and nutrients needed for optimal child development and learning. Children participating in both the breakfast and lunch programs receive approximately two-thirds of the recommended daily allowance.

Every school breakfast is well-balanced and contains five great choices:

Grains: We offer homemade, whole grain banana and blueberry muffins
