Alhambra Traditional School offers services to enhance school unity, parental involvement, and an environment that promotes student success, care, and safety. Some of our services include:
Extended Day Care
A fee-based before and after-school child care program is offered to all students.
Parent Volunteers
Parents are encouraged to volunteer at ATS, and the school employs a part-time volunteer coordinator to help match the needs of the school with volunteers.
Parent Academy
Classes for parents that relate to the state, district, and school curriculum are offered throughout the school year.
The Learning Studio
Materials are available for parents to check out to use at home to work with their children on skills in math, reading, language, social studies, science, and Spalding.
Computer Labs
Computer labs are available to students before school and during lunch to work on skills. Classrooms schedule lab times approximately once during each six-day cycle to review skills in math, reading, language, science, social studies and technology previously taught in the classroom.
Take-Home Computers
Parents can check out a computer to use at home to help students with writing assignments and math and reading skills.
Tutoring
Before or after-school tutoring is available at each grade level in Spalding, math, reading, and other subjects.
Transportation
The Alhambra District provides bus transportation for ATS students (including out-of-district students) to and from specific locations within the Alhambra District boundaries.
